Hi there, my name is Huy. I’m a guy doing Computer Science at National University of Singapore (NUS). I have a strong interest in web programming, computer networks and social web services.

Besides computer science, I’m particularly interested in education situation in Vietnam and personal development program.

Recently, the university where I study decided to give me 1-year vacation, and they are kind enough to buy me a round-trip ticket to Stockholm (Sweden). After staying in Stockholm for while doing nothing, I was so bored. I decided to find a job. And now I’m working for SenseGraphics AB as an intern for the rest of my vacation.

That was kidding :-P. But the facts about being in Stockholm and working for the company are absolutely correct. The school didn’t give me 1-year vacation (which school does?). She is even kinder than that: She gave me a chance to intern for a startup company in Stockholm for 1 year cum taking entrepreneurship courses in SSES. That chance is called NUS Overseas Colleges.

Current commitments

• Intern at SenseGraphics AB (starting August 2009), a Stockholm-based company developing haptics solutions. This is under NUS Overseas Colleges program.

My past projects & commitments:

• Officer of VietnamJUMP – a 2-week community service at Quang Nam province, VIETNAM. Organized by Vietnamese Community at National University of Singapore (VNCNUS)
• Founder of NGUYENVANTO.NET, a small online community for my secondary school students.
• Working as Junior Research Assistant under Dr Ben Leong on Hydra, a network peer-to-peer framework that expose as client-server framework for game development. Currently my job is to develop Tankie, a facebook game that run on this framework.
